not to be confused with a mission statement. a mission is a quest, or a task, with a predetermined objective in mind. something to fulfill, to attain. what happens along the way is secondary to what is ultimately accomplished. a journey on the other hand is open- ended. its purpose is in the awareness of the moment - not an awareness of what the moment is, just that it's there - and in the awareness, an excitement for having the opportunity to be there and wonder at what may come.

this is our journey. it is a journey of design - without knowing or stating where it may lead. we look at each project with the same excitement and wonder - to make it something only it can be. each project is an opportunity, a privilege, to be a part of that moment. to add to the bigger picture that may one day define that moment.

sure there are things we aim to accomplish while on this journey. noble things that give our journey its framework - like a set of guiding principles. things such as improving the LIVABILITY of our clients through a varied use of space and materials; and enhancing the fabric of society by RE-SHAPING the built environment by constantly seeking innovative design solutions and never stop asking ourselves how we can build this better.

but these things aren't the goal - the end-all- be-all. they are the sources of our journey. the reasons we set out on this journey. we look forward to what lies ahead. we invite you to come along and be a part of our journey - even if only for a moment
